In this picture I am standing in first place with GCH Almar Acres RK War Bonnet, Alvin is standing in second place with Almar Acres O Chocolate Chip and Gina Duff is handling Almar Acres HS Miss Behaven in fourth place.

Almar Acres is owned by my husband and I, Alvin and Marilyn Woolsey. Our family enjoyed  fresh milk and cheese that our milk goats provided through the years as our children were growing up. We've owned Nubians, Toggenburgs and mixed breeds through the years. It wasn't until we acquired our first Nigerian for a granddaughter's 4H project that we truly fell in love with the more detailed avenues of goat keeping, such as showing and milk testing. This little breed captured our hearts very quickly. We registered our herd name with ADGA in 2011 and have never looked back. We participate in local shows, our herd is on milk test and we have our herd appraised every year. We are both retired now, well at least no longer working in the work force ;)  Our goal for this herd is to breed lovely structurally correct Nigerians that can compete in a show ring and then go home and prove their worth as a dairy goat.  Alvin and I would like to welcome you to our website and hope you enjoy your visit.
